I'd read a few glowing reports about CurleyOak Pickups, to say I'm pleased with the result can in no way express how happy I am. The service Simon Gives is exactly why I deal with smaller indepented companies, absolutely flawless.. Exact and to the point communicationand a quick turnaround. This little beauty has not only delivered but excelled. One very pleased customer

I've had two sets of pickups from CurleyOak, a set of 1973 Telecaster rewinds to original spec, and a set of P90s for a Les Paul Junior custom. The craftsmanship and quality, from the repairs to the new P90s, is second to none. Its a big thankyou to CurleyOak for their help, truly fabulous.

Exactly what I wanted, has the snarl and growl of a P90 but defined clarity throughout, just a beautiful build. Thanks so much ! If I want a new pickup for my other guitars, I will absolutely be looking at CurleyOak

P90 Staple
About 6 months ago I purchased a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Junior, I loved the guitar the the P90 pickup didn't suit my needs. Looking for a Dog Ear P90 humbucker, I found CurleyOak on the internet. I mailed Simon via the contacts page and he responded in hours. I sent him the spec I wanted, which was based on a boutique pickup I already have, and he said he could do it. The pickup arrived within 4 days of placing the order. I could immediately see it was a top quality item. When fitted, it sounded exactly the same as the boutique one, I couldn't be more pleased. The CurleyOak pickup has turned a guitar the would normally be left in its case into one I cant put down. If you need an upgrade or just something different, give Simon a bell. Great service, great communication and a great price.

Pickups are now in the bass and sounding good. P is louder and warmer, J has more grunt and definition. Thanks for your help.

The pickup sounds great. I've ordered many pickups but none have such technical data with them. I have made a good decision in ordering from CurleyOak

Despite having guitars with Fender, Gibson, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, TV Jones, Klein, Bare Knuckle, Mojo & PRS pickups - 90% of the time I pickup a guitar fitted with CurleyOak pickups.
